Has anyone seen the converters/companies on Ebay? Anyone have used these converters, examples were converters from Monster, Direct transmission and ACC. I did email quite a few that I saw on the feedback list, with only a few replies, most were more about the service than the performance. I know you get what you pay for, for the most part, just curious....anyone?

Well if your "thinkin sticky" and Nittos your mistaken!!
Unless you plan on only trying to get them to work on a WELL preped track they will NEVER hook on the street unless you have a 13 second car.
Save yourself the wasted money and at least get the BFG's if your on a budget.
If money is NO object and your true goal is trying to hook on the street than get some M&H's. Our testing has shown that the Mickeys will hook up second best in drag radials with Hoosiers coming in third.
The Hoosiers are a little lighter than the Mickeys so it helps the mph but due to the lack of tread grooves they tend to spin easier on the street than the M&H's or Mickeys.
Either way I wouldn't run Nittos again unless they were on a daily driver.

Sounds to me like you were stating the facts. I don't see any other reason for you to make such a claim. I, along with many others have experienced a bad situation with a company that was supposed to deliver but didn't. Some don't like to believe that a person could actually practice those type of buisness ethics, but it happens all the time. And yours seems like a worst case scenario.

Good luck and hope everything works out.

Calling someone a lousy businessman is not a fact, thats your opinion and an insult. Its not necessary to call someone lousy when stating what happened. This is also not the appropriate thread for this matter. The sponsor feedback forum is where this type of discussion needs to continue.

I bought the TCI break-away for my 450 HP LS1 and it lasted 5,000 miles before shelling out completely one night. I have now purchased an ATI Treemaster that is basically a custom-made racing converter that they make to fit the exact specifications of your car. I have talked to several people that race for a living and they say that the ATI TC's are practically impossible to break. I learned the hard way that production converters like TCI and B&M are junk. Check them out at http://www.atiracing.com/ and you will see that they use superior materials and craftmanship. The owner, Jim Beattie, is very helpful.
