Recap:
I have a Comp Cam's 222/224
@.50, 112 LSA, .556, .560 lift. I have upgraded the valvetrain to
complment this cam along with 1.8 rockers (not yet). I will also have a LS6 intake, ported throttle body or aftermarket, underdrive pulley, and long tube headers. Once the project is all together, I will get a custom tune. I do not mind a higher compression, but I also do not want to have to have it sky high either. I might have to "flycut" the pistions due to the 1.8 rockers. I want as
much power as I can get!
Patriot Performance offers LS6 bare heads for $745 a pair. That includes guides, seats and CNC chambers. They give you a choice on what chamber size you can have. It varies from, 59, 64, 68, 72. Which one?
Keep in mind. No nitrous, no boost. This motor is going to be in a street driven car. I want as much horsepower as possible. In case you were wondering.
