Its a 1998 Trans Am black Ws6 ram air. It has 45000 miles on it, female driven. The asking price is 13,500$. Is this a good deal? I've been looking for one for almost 2 years. Does the 98 T/A has any side effects that the 99-02 dont have?

What do you think of the car???

Why:toetap:

The heads are different on the 98's

Tuning software was mainly written for 99 and newer.

I just don't like buying the first year of anything. Too many bugs.

I was thinking about that, I'll try to talk them down on the price. The KBB value is around 11K. I'll have to let them know that.:yup:

If I do get this car, once I'm finished with my upgrades, people are going to be like

I'd hold out and try to find something else. I agree with Ed that the first year of prod are not the ones to get. I'd also get a M6 unless you want to drag. For that price you should be able to find a well modded one or one with even less miles that doesn't have that odd looking single exhaust. Seeing it's been female drivin you'll need to have the motor de-carbed, dings removed, curb rash removed from the wheels, brakes replaced, ect. that the average female drivers (I did not say all) inflict upon cars.

That's what the 98 WS6's came with from the factory. Very odd.

That's because things are screwy for the first year of prod. until they can figure things out. Just look what happened with the GTO. The sucker that couldn't wait for the 2nd year are out 50HP!

HEY!!:cuss: Some of us already had cars in the garage that had 50 more HP. The 04 fit me perfect. I wanted a decent daily driver that had some balls and I picked mine up with 150 miles on it for $23k. Sticker was still in the glove box showing $33k. I've been happy with my 04 but if that was the only performance car I had it would be modded by now. :D

That's not true. I've know two girls who have Trans Am's, and they've never been in any accident of any sort. Maybe girls who drive other cars, but not girls who drive Trans Am's.

I wasn't saying they are all bad drivers, but the majority of female driver cars are in ruffer shape then cars that males drive usally and this is not always the case either. When most people say it's female drivin most people think the car isn't pushed as hard as often. But there normally is more other types of damage than what would be on a male drivin car. That's what I usually observe anyway. Most of the time when they advertise Female driver they are not the only one that usually drives them anyway. My main point was that someone saying a car that was female drivin is really pointless and only a fool would take that into any consideration when looking at a car to decide if it's any better than a comparable car that didn't state that.
