I have an AWD SS. Having had a Typhoon, this thing is pretty close. It rides & handles a lot better. It's not as quick out of the hole, but torque management has a lot to do with that I imagine.

I don't have any 1/4 mile times as of yet. But a lot of the guys are seeing a .5 second gain from a Predator programmer.

It is definitely a strong SUV. I figure a good tune & exhaust will wake it up big time.

As far as the women go, it gets some attention from them. Don't get me wrong... It's not a Vette. But it does alright in the attention department.

One major plus is the cops don't break their neck looking at it.

The price depends on the dealer. If you go somewhere that doesn't have but one or two, you will probably pay more. I got mine from a dealer in NJ that had 8 of them on the lot. They sold at $500 over invoice plus deducted the rebates. Mine has every option except factory navigation & rear DVD. It came in at a $34k and some change price.

Gas mielage... Well... It ain't great by any means. It's probably comparable to any other SUV. I am averaging 12.9 with mine. But I drive it like I stole it most of the time.

After having had a Typhoon, a Firehawk T/A, a WS6, a SS, an 04 GTO & an 05 GTO, I will give the TrailBlazer SS plenty of credit in the performance department. No, it isn't as quick as the cars I mentioned (with the exception of the Typhoon... It may be that fast). But this is a quick SUV that has plenty of room to haul people or stuff or whatever, as well as haul ass to boot. I plan on staying in one as a daily driver for as long as GM produces them.

Here are a few pics to add to the thread as well.

I cant see the pics cuz I am at work, but thank you for the info.

Have you done any mods as of yet? Are there any mods that this truck needs? As in, is there a weak link? E.g. shitty flowing heads, too restricted exhaust, computer, shifting, etc
Have you heard of mods that have increased gas mileage? Headers, how much do they cost or are they not that abundant yet..?

Do they all come with the single exhaust outlet? I never noticed that before.
