when was the last year for the stingray...

Iam at somewhat of a dilema.....Iam reading that the last year of the stingray was 1977, but Iam being told by the general public that the lsat year was 76....can some one help me....Also I have found, garaged, a 1976 with only 17,000 miles on it...I will have to confirm that but can anyone tell me , if the car is all original what the car would be worth....

I have a Corvette buyers Guide and it dont really say... All it says is the big change came in 78, so I dont see why a 77 was any differint than a 76 ...

for the real stingrays-'67 after that they're just mako sharks with the stingray nameplate
