A friend of mine has found a 1996 Z28 Black vert, hood, lid, exhaust, tune, headers, with 3600 miles on it. It is owned by a 59 year ld woman and she wants 17,000 for it , is this too much?, I paid 13,500 for my 2000 with 32000 miles, so I think it.

Did you forget a zero, or is that milage correct?
If so, I'd say thats a pretty fair price. But, it had better be mint to command that kinda money.

For me I think it's too much but all depends on how bad the buyer wants it.

the mileage is correct, or at least thats what he told me, I let this kid drive my Z28 once and ever since he has been looking for one, He went on harvest this summer, his dad runs a custom cutting outfit, and has looked from North Dakota to Texas,he has figured out what he want's and will stick to it.

no such thing as a lid on those cars, and yes thats way to much money for that car:yup: , hell he could find a VERY nice 02 SS for that with 20k miles if he looked hard:yup:

Yeah, way too much. On Wed I bought a 01 SS Conv for $15K. One owner with all documentation and a ton of SLP options.

The car only had 46k when I picked it up. Just drove to FL and back and now has 48k.
The SS is in showroom condition.

Not to many "59 Year Old Women" race around with hood, lid, exhaust, tune and headers...

i wouldnt buy the 96 z28, i mean that is low miles and probably mint cond, but its still an old car, and i'd rather get a LS1 with 36000 miles on it than a LT1 with 3600 miles on it
