buying a sts turbo for my 02 z28. i have 2 questions.
1st is there a difference in installation for the auto over the m4?
2nd should i buy the ecm update that sts offers or is there a better one out there or could i do it myself? thanks brothers

No there is no difference in the install between a auto and 6-speed....as for the buying the update I guess you're referring to a tune......it will probably get you in the ball park of running but it would always be best to have someone tune it after you put the system on.....every car is different....

Absolutely, you need a tune. The store bought tune will get you in the ball park, but will never match a custom tune. Since a turbo system always responds best to bigger injectors, a new map is required. I drove mine for a month or two after the install, but waited until the tune to install the larger injectors. BTW, I had to install a TransGo HD2 shift kit also, because the added power made the trans slip during shifts. After the kit, no slips.
