I'd be more affraid of a lightning then a srt 10. They look nice, but are not that fast.

From a dig you'd think the srt-10 would have major traction probs....did you spin bad also?

07-25-2006, 12:55 PM

An SRT-10 runs 14.2 stock. They have power, but they also have weight problems. I'm w/ the guy uptop, I'd be more afraid of Lightning's...

I could be wrong but unless they changed something for '06, the quad cabs are auto only. Was it a A6? The single cabs are the manual.

it was a 06 quad cab but from what i could tell it was a stick but i could be wrong

Those trucks are tricky things, the more power = the more traction problems. Plus there is that whole weight thing.

Umm...if this was a four door SRT10, then wait a minute. The Dodge Ram SRT-10 also comes in a two door and there is a big difference in their ETs due to extra curb weight. The two door style runs at least a 13.8 stock.
Ford Lightin's deserve respect, but don't cont the SRT-10 out so quickly...
Check these -dodge.com/srt-10/ and -allpar.com/model/ram/ram-srt-10.html and -trucks.about.com/cs/dodgeramsrt10/a/ram_srt10.htm

Hi,
they don't work because of the low number of posts I've made to this site...who made that rule?
Here's what I got:
"You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 5 posts or more."
Anyway, just add worldwideweb stuff to the front to each of them... and take away the "-" at the front of what I posted -

just for arguments sake, my buddy has a 2001 reg. cab short bed 5.3 Silverado with a custom cam, longtubes, tune, stock converter, shift kit and duals that runs real low 14's on motor. with the compucar bag nitrous kit it would be on par with those times of the 6 speed SRT10's although he hasnt run yet at the track with the bottle. those dodges still dont impress me
