I have a 98 t/a white and the molding in the middle of the door is starting to look kind of shitty. Looks like it only held on with tape. any one got a pic or a bird with it off. and if i take it off will the paint underneath be ok. so in other words if i take it off will it look ok. Would like to see how it looks so if anyone get some pics can you plz post them.

ive seen several pics with it removed... it looks pretty good!
the molding is pretty much useless, it is not the farthest thing sticking out on the door so it doesn't protect it from getting door dings.

i'd say go ahead and take them off

what he said.
If your moldings already look like crap you don't have anything to lose. I thought long and hard about taking mine off at one time but decided not to do it. You can use fishing line to get them off then clean up the glue with WD-40.

The doors are plastic anyway so you won't get any door dings dingy! I like the look of having them on better, but if they look like crap just trash them and get new ones if you ever get the car re-painted.

One of the best visual mods I've done. Looks smooth and makes cleaning the door a breeze.

That's a beautiful car you have.

Thanks. :) It's really hard work keeping a daily driver clean. But it's totally worth it.
