Zaino is great.

I am all for their products, except I would wax with something else.
Their wax isn't the best over time. If you re-apply the wax often, then Zaino is fine. If you wax 1-2 times a year, use something else.

Links don't get resize. But if you use the thumb code they will be thumbnails.

I will change it on your first pic and show you.

Your car looks great, but
I can get equal shine what yours is if not better
and not use Zaino. I can't see spending that kind of money.

Zaino isn't that much more $$ than most other good products.

I like Zaino because it fills in the minor scratches in my back paint. And last alot longer than the other waxes. Plus there is none of that white caked on crap.

Ask anyone here who has seen my car in person. They can't believe how well the paint looks.

And last alot longer than the other waxes.
This I disagree with.

My basic Meguairs wax has outlasted Zaino several times.
Zaino shines a bit better, but doesn't last as long in my experiences.

What other clay bar works well that you can find at many retail or auto parts stores?

Mothers Clay Bar works well.

Thanks Ed i'll probably pick one up tonight. Are they time consuming?

I don't think so. Don't use any pressure when sliding on the paint. Let the bar do all the work.

You will be surprised how smooth your paint will be after claying it.

We have been using zaino for 2 years now & will use nothing else. Sure you can probably get cheaper stuff out there but this stuff kicks ass:spank2: . Not to mention zaino is actually a polish & not a wax. Check it out5873

I think so, too. Haven't bought any in a few years, been busy and lazy. But I used it all the time on my 99 SS, which is still on Sal's website by the way. Anyone have any doubt, check it out. It's awesome. (See signature).

Hey Sal... gonna be back on your customer list. The 06 GTO is just too pretty to wash and protect with just anything...

I used to always use Clay Magic, in fact still have a bar in my garage I use on occasion. You could buy it at Pep Boys, if I recall.

I haven't bought any of Sal's products in a few years... lost the interest and ambition a few years into my Z28 ownership and on to other interests (firearms, photography, poker, kids, new house, etc.)

Sal has his own clay bar, at least used to. Never used it, but if he's got one, it's got to be top notch.

Goes on and comes off real easy too. If you use the Z car wash, it keeps that shine. I think it's got a little polish in it, too. Don't remember exactly.

I remember one thing for sure... when I was using the Z wash regularly, I never had to rain-x my windows.

Nice car, but I think... (hate to tell you this)... that Megquies melted your grill. :) ... Just kidding, very nice. I like the mods. Looks like some nice work on the exhaust and intake.

So does Zaino have a "black" polish or is it just clear. I hate all the white I get on my black trim (black car as well). I have heard good stuff on the turtle wax "black" wax as well. Thanks

It dries to a white powder pretty quickly, but comes off sooooo easy you won't believe it.

Just gotta make sure it's dry before you start taking it off. Sal's got info on his web page.

If your seeing powder, you're using too much.

Exactly... or not letting it dry all the way. Cooler and more humid days take a little longer to get it completely dry.
