appearantly my tq arm was smashed in my accident-insurance is going to replace it but won't give me more $$ than a stock TQ arm costs. My mechanic has recomended an Edelbrock non-adjustable one b/c it's cheap and bolts into the stock assembly. any comments?

also, i know i could just shell out the cash for an upgraded one, but i've allready used that "extra cash" to buy Koni shocks

ive heard of people breaking the edlebrock TA. UMI offers a much more rigid piece for a great price too. Id look at theirs too. Spohns is good, but a bit to expensive..better to upgrade rather than replace ;)

Yes dd if you really want to go cheap check out the non-adjustable version from UMI.

'Eddy's' TA's are notorious for snapping.

I have a UMI adjustable and it's a nice piece.
