Has anyone had any problems mounting a LS1 and 6 speed tranny into a 88-98 gm truck?
I am about to do the project but was hoping for some tips from someone who has already gone through this project.

Check out ebay for the ls1 engine mount plates. Easy to use and you'll be able to use your stock engine mounts.
As for the trans, simply fab you up a cross member or extend your existing one so that the trans has something to sit on.
good luck,

Also make sure you verify or correct the pinion angle after the install.
Good to see you here Allen!

Hey, man, this is an old site, I was actually on this site back in '98 when I had my '98LS1 Camaro, I still have my #14 member ID, LOL. My old username was Allen98Z, but somehow it was deleted, kind of bummed me out.
But, ya, nice to see you here too.
see ya the other sites too,
