...so heres the question i have...getting ready to repaint my t/a...after living in NC for a year...its seems to have been beatin to living hell...and now shes about ready for some new color...the question is....Gloss black with satin stripes...or satin black with gloss stripes?...as soon as i find one its gonna get a firehawk hood...thats the last major piece i need before i can start prep work for paint...the stripes will be like the early 70's camaro's... two stripes with accent stripes that go around the larger ones...stripes will only be on the hood and decklid like the original...no stripes on either the front or the rear bumpers
whatcha think?

I think it'll look awesome.
If it were mine i think i'd rather have the car gloss black rather than the stripes.
It'll look great whatever you do.:yup:

the car started out gloss black...its just been weather beaten and is in need of refresshing....besides the fact that every panel on the car is smashed, cracked, fiberglassed, welded, or otherwise replaced or repaired....so i just gotta figure out what ima do from here...if i paint it gloss black...then ill want to wax it...but you cant wax a flat paint....so that will be messed up...but i paint it a satin black...with gloss stripes...all i ever have to do i wash it with soap and water

its no where near done..but im not joking at all...its still raw fiberglass...only difference is its mounted on the car and painted...i got tired of looking at the fiber...since i moved i dont have a garage anymore...so i dont have the ability to hook up my air compressor, or for that matter just sit there and sand away...so once we get moved in ill be able to finish all the body work on the car...theres a lot of it....both doors are cracked from people hitting them...both front and rear bumpers are damaged and the 1/4's are rittled with dents...i got a lot of work to do...just time and money
