This is probably a general issue but have not experienced this before. While I'm driving my car, it is very sensitive to any bumps or slight unlevel roads. It jerks and pulls on the smallest imperfections that I drive over. It never handled like this and is very hard to handle now and takes both hands to control it. Drives fine on newly paved road but that's about it...the street has to be perfect. I checked the sway bar thinking maybe it came loose on one end or the other but it's all intact. Power steering levels are fine. No noise or leaks just terrible handling at any speed. If anyone has seen this before, any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I agree with above sounds like time for new suspension. How many miles are on the ls1?
If there arent any noises and you have looked it over then yeppers time to upgrade.

Okay guys,...I was afraid of that. I have about 160,000 on it now with the stock suspension.

When was the last time the suspension was checked or anything replaced? 160,000 miles is alot. You either have a bad part(s) or the alignment is off.

Check if there is any oil residue around your shocks but most likely they're bad. Also wide tires are standard in our cars and you'll get stuck in the grooves and throw the car off, Happens to me all the time with the new freeway constroction around here. Damn Cal Trans!

Make sure you check your tire pressure, that can do it too.
