O.k so I was at a car show this week end, or should I say stock show. They had a hand full of good cars but some were just a damn shame. There was a new red GT with tow black stripes. as he was on his way home I caught him on the highway and he tried to catch me with a ricerer fly by but as soon as he got next to me I guned it and stoped his pull immidiatly then I simply walked him. So then he wanted to race in the country as if he had a chance. We went from a dead stop and he had me up to 60 then I flew passed him and its only that I burned my launch. Second time same story but as soon as I hit 65:flex: my tires spun and I began to drift right next to him.SHIT! I flew in to a ditch :brick: and he left me. As in he didn't come back to help.
Next thing I know I was diging my self out for about 40 minutes with my hands. What a shity day. I won the battle but I think he won the war.
I guess if I catch him on the road some day we'll have to settle the score.
He just had me on a bad day.

I almost had a chance to race the mighty ls1. I was out crusing with four friends. All were 05/06 stangs except one of them, which was an 05 Evo. One of my friends calls me and lets me know that there is a Camaro LS1 up in front of traffic ahead of us. He knows how bad I want this kill. I speed up around everyone trying to get up to him and he sees all of us coming and speeds off while we were yet blocked by traffic. I guess there were to many of us. I would have walked him too. Darn it!

Shit!cracked my side skirt which is ok becaus I'm going to get new ones any way ,but today my car was starting to over heat bad. I had to keep stoping every two miles on my way back from town. awww man, not another ditch story....dude, i had a nasty encounter with a ditch 2 months ago...still can't drive my car yet. You might wanna check for a coolant leak, you could have ripped a hose, i think there is one on the bottom front of the block, passenger side.

LOL, the funny thing is that the EVO walked a Z28 on the way to meet us. He told me he was shocked how easy it was(His words). I thought that LS1 guys were top dog. I was confused when he took off like that. I guess we did look a little intimidating. Three Stangs and An EVO. Three of us are Chevy fans also by the way. One also owns an SS.

Thank you. I wish I could roll upon a lot of guys on this site. I'm sick of the Civics with donut tires, Mini vans, SUV's, and especially the Hemi boyz in their Trucks. That's getting old. Trust me, I've got plenty of experience getting beat by an LS1. My friends. I want one that's close to stock like mines until I get my cams.

Evos aren't shit. An LS1 will kill an Evo all day long, especially from a roll. The only way an Evo can take an LS1 is with some serious mods. And of course when you mod out mitsubitchies, they begin to fall apart because they are pieces of shit. Lose lose situation.

I know, I know. But It happened. LS1 guys don't take losing too easily unless it's to another F-body. There was a post on another forum about one getting killed by an 06 Mustang and some of the LS1 guys used the excuse was a bad LS1 driver. I'm sorry, but the way some of you guys hype up the LS1, the driver could be deaf and blind and you should still win.

A point "somewhat"?? Are you serious?? An M6 LS1 will positively destroy an Evo from anything other than a dead stop, thats a joke. They can only keep up in the 1/4 because the are AWD.

I've never seen a stock or slightly modded Evo even come close to hanging with a stock LS1 from a roll, the last one I encountered on the highway was so embarrassed that he got off the nearest exit ramp :giveup:

I cant say If they can or cant beat an LS1(I doubt it) cuz they wont race. As far as Evo's go Iv raced 2 from rolls (when they first came out) when my car was stock and still pulled them pretty good.

I have the exact opposite. I can not find a LS1 to run. I'm not talkin shit but I'd like to see how well I'd do (stock vs stock is my only hope, I'm not stupid). I see posts that a stock LS1 will put several bus lengths on a 3V GT and I'd just like to find out for myself. Damn its fun. Gets the adrenalin pumping. Win-lose-draw, you can't beat the rush.
