Reverse open hood on 02 Z28

Im wondering if there is a kit or can i just customize my 02 Z28s hood to open reverse like a corvette hood. Thanks for any info.

Have you ever seen an F-Body with a reverse opening hood, or is it just an idea you thought of??

Yea, I think it would be pretty cool. Reverse open hoods look great when the hood is popped, because you can see the actual hood instead of the inside of it.

They do sell a kit, I'll have to look around to find it again. As I recall it's pricey, and good luck doing any work without taking the whole hood off!

You would problably have to take the hood off in order to do this.

I found an auto loc reverse hood kit, but its a universal kit - so i guess alot of customizing has to be done?

Oddly enough.... the California Camaro is in this months CAMARO magazine. It was the concept car for the fourth gen Camaro. It HAS a reverse opening hood!!!!!! Too bad that idea didn't make it into the production model:(
