Cammed Z28 got killed by a 240 SX this weekend!

A ricer import did me in fellas. A couple illegal immigrants riding in a POS 240 SX with a sh*tty paint job and rims, rammed into the ass end of my Z and sent me spinning. They didn't speak a lick of English, and as soon as my back was turned, they disappeared into the woods. The cops got the dogs after them and rounded up a couple suspects later on that day, but I don't think they are gonna find them. They f*cked up the left quarter panel, and hit the rear square on the rim. I don't know what all is f*cked up now, but at least they had insurance, even if the tags were BOGUS.

I was SUPPOSED to have the heads put on this week, guess those plans are shot. GOTDAMMIT

Guess I will have to sell the Z after this, and get me an 01 Z06! I think I will put the heads on it instead, along with a new MAGIC STICK.

It needs to be put on an frame machine, b/c there is a bigger gap in the driver's side door than the passenger side (front fender gap). Gotta take it to the stealership and get a quote.

dude that sucks so bad, same thing happend to my buddy 5 days after he bought a very nice S-10 so illegal hit him in the ass end going 65 when he was at a stop, but they didnt have insurance or anything his company ended up taking care of him

I forgot to mention, the 240 SX was absolutely totalled, and I was able to drive away with no ill effects, except now my gas gauge reads FULL, and I know that b*tch was on E when I got hit. I got a little scrubbing on the left rear tire going on too, but it seems to drive straight.

Sucks man but damage isnt too bad. Take it to the best body shop around and it will be good as new!

Yeah, I had just spent an hour detailing it, polishing the rims, and wabaam, your car is outta commission. That supra would look good with a pewter metallic paint job. You are right, at least I didn't get f*cked up. If he would have hit flush on the door I would have gotten FUBAR. Glad I got welded subframes, or the damage would have been much worse.

I got hit in the Passenger door by a non English speaking dumbass changing lanes. He told the cop it was my fault. The cop pulled my record and "no record" came up. Then he pulled dumbasses record, it was two pages long.
Dumbass got the ticket.

Damage doesn't look that bad at all, especially when you consider that you were able to drive away, and drive away straight. I was honestly expecting to see the rearend crushed completely inward. I know people here that would have that fixed in a single weekend, so hopefully you'll come across the right people that know what their doing....

They are not gonna total it. The rear end took the brunt of the force. They had to put it on a frame machine and the left axle is warped. Apparently, the rim has no damage :werd:

Looks like I am gonna be selling the Z28 and investing in a new project. I am looking for a SPEEDWAY WHITE 2001 Z06 with the red leather interior. I am gonna put those heads on it, along with a big cam.

Fellas, what should be my asking price for the Z28? The interior is in good condition, and so is the car. It has like 95K on it though. Mods are in the sig above.
