Does anyone know where i can get an engraved (Firebird Symbol) shifter knob for my B&M throw shifter. My buddy had one in his Firehawk but i cant find them
anywhere. Does anyone have one?

I've never seen one of those before. Are you sure he bought it that way or did he get it custom engraved?

I'm pretty sure I have the same knob that you are referring too. I bought my car with it, and I love the look of it. I don't know where you can get it though. I'll post pictures if wanted.

I have a silver/aluminum one just like degenerate's...I got it from thunder racing. I took a few crappy pics(not really even worth posting), but it looks just like the one above but silver

I have the same knob in Black. The Bird comes out white with the engraving. It came with the car though.

Mine's not aluminum. It's some hard type of stone like material, acrylic or something. I suggest this material may be better than aluminum because the aluminum knobs (especially black one's) get pretty hot in the summer with the heat inside the car. They will also look bad after they get scratches, whereas the non metal balls are the same color all the way through.

It looks exactly the same as the aluminum ones though.

I agree with that. I live in arizona and during the day it gets up around 110. Getting in my car after its been sitting for a while I can barely touch the knob long enough to change gears. The pain goes away after about 5 minutes though.

Very nice!! I'll have to replace the firebird knob I had just bought. I wonder if I can find it in anodized yellow?!:drivin:

I called the lady to check on it today, she said the silver one was in stock and was shipped out today. Did you get a 2 inch or 2 1/4 inch one(was it with or without the tail)It would be worth the wait for the blue one for your ride, mines satin silver and should go great with the leather!

i ordered the one with the tail...
it would have been nice for my car but oh well.... i might check back another time and see if it is in stock again.

Wonder how many people are rocking the engraved firebird knob since posting this thread?

I've been scoping these since I bought my car. Finally ordered the Black 2" SS with tail. Should go good with the dark interior. That is if its in stock

Does somebody still sell the adapter to use these balls with an auto? Used to have an adapter that would let you push down on the ball to shift out of park when MBA still made them.
