went to the track today for the first time and ran the car 4 times and the last time i broke into the 13's!!!!.......maybe its because i did a burnout..but the launch really sucked.....i have a 2001 camaro ss m6 with lid and cutout are these ok numbers????also i have a screwed up idle it sits at about 1200 after each run?my dad and i came to the conclusion that its my pcv valve

good job breaking into the 13s. the mph is great for really low 13s. what was your 60ft? once you get that down into the 2.0x area, you start seeing the lower ET.

on the pcv valve thing. check the tiny piece of hose that goes from the pcv to the intake. touch underneath the hose. you might feel a rotted area or a hole there. it's the most common thing to happen on the ls1 cars. the hose rots.

I ran a 13.3 at 106 w/ a 2.3 60ft, in an A4 with bolts ons (cutout lid etc)....

my 60' time was 2.396 i have a lid and a cutout are these ok numbers considering it was only my fourth run ever at a track..but im going back next week i was hoping for mid 13's though o well next time

you have good mph. once you lose that .4 in the 60ft, you'll see low 13s easy. for it being only your fourth run, good job. keep going and you'll get better.

changed out the pcv valve and then used hose clamps to ensure tight seals..and she run like new compared to the old idleing at 1200 rpms and rising rpms when i put it nuetral..should this help me out at the 1/4 mile?

it was the pcv but now i have the ls6 version anyways..problem turned out to be the tps sensor on the throttle
