i had a guy in one of them new GTO's pull up next to me actting all tough sh!t :lol: and i was just wondering how much power they had stock? and what would the 1/4 time be?:dunno:

they have 400hp. and 400ft. lbs. of torque, I've heard of guys getting them into the 12s with DRs and with stiffer rear springs I'm sure you'd be deep into the 12.90s

i would have but i was out of it (late night early morning) and he was geting on the freeway and i was stuck at a light in between 2 cars.... well that and it was ruch hour in dallas texas!

Gto times came from "Car and Driver" So thier pritty reliable.
Try to find out the year of this guys car becaus the 03-04 are completele different beasts from the 05-06 models.

I raced one from the same speed speeds in my 8 but had the opposite outcome. Also, Im only putting down 318 on a mustang dyno. I figured the goat would run a little stronger than it did.

When i raced it my evo was in poor condition. I have about the same power as you z2evo or maybe a little bit more. I just found alot of bad things on my evo last weekend that are repaired now. The last thing i have to repair is the throttlebody. Its leaking lots of air into the atmosphere.

When i raced that LS2 GTO my stock clutch would grip NOTHING from 1st thru 2nd gear at WOT. The first fuel injector was not seated properly into the engine. It was spraying some gas to the outside and air was also escaping thru there when i did a boost leak test. But thats all fixed now.

hmmm, yes pretty similar. Seems the sole difference is that Im tuned for 101 and 25psi. That might make a little difference.

Whoever you raced didnt know his shift points, cause I havent had anything with 4 cylinders beat me yet. Was dead even with an EVO one day, but never had one pull away from me. Smoked several SRT-4s, so be careful with that line of thinking.

Yea we were trapping bout teh same he just couldnt drive that well. We ran at hte track and after. He boasted a 13.6@103 to my 13.5@105. Stock for stock you got me but im not stock!!:) I have yet to run an auto. I thought bout getting one but i dunno.
