Finally got mine installed about 3 weeks ago now. Love em. 17X9.5's up front and 17X11's in the back.

275 40ZR 17's in the back are too small so, I think 305's might be just right. Will have to wait though. Just have to love the ones I'm with.

This camaro was imported in 1998 (There is few company in our country which are specialized for import us cars and parts, but most people solve by theirself by containers or USPS) I have this Z28 cca 1 year and all part is from EBAY or directly from seller (Summit racing, UMIperformance.....)

yea ebay FTW :) How is the handling with 285 . I have 255/35 but next time i will run 265 to front.

amza_03
04-08-2008, 10:58 AM
The car handles really well. I run 285/35/18 Pirelli's but I'm kinda used to running wide tires. I had ZR1's before and ran 275's in front and 315's rear. What I like though is that those wheels are light for how massive they are...
I hope you guys have better streets in Poland cause here in Chicago we have the nastiest potholes I've ever seen,.. and I've been places... lol

i'll second chicago having some crappy ass roads, i'm afraid to get new rims and mess em up in a week - the roads here really are that bad... c'mon spend some of them police dollars on the roads! you know they're bad when even the cops slow down for the potholes...

you probably cant, pics on the forum are hosted on other sites, like photobucket or flikr. if the user took them off the host website, the disappear from here

the only thing you can do is ask the original poster to email them to you.

Thank you it's nice to get some good comments about 80% of what I have recieved so far has been negative. We take pride in our cars and even though some peoples opinions are not the same as ours and their tastes may differ I think we should support they fact that each person puts effort into making their cars look good and not just blasting what they dont like right off the bat.:yup:

I like them alot and would definately buy them again. I dont notice any road noise unless the road is super coarse and even then its not very much. They arent super low profile so even going over bumps isnt bad. As far as corners go -it hangs corners well even with stock susp. and I dont take this car to the track. I have had them about a year and never put air in them(this is new for me LOL).

never heard of those drift wheels, they pricey?

You can get a set for around $1000.
They are very light and the build quality is VERY high. They have some of the tightest runouts of any wheel I have bought.

i am running drifz wheels on my 2000 t/a, i love them, they balance out nice and look cool. my family owns a tire and wheel shop here in town i could probably get you a decent deal on a set. if i can help just let me know.

I want that damn hood bro. Is it stock or after market and did it fit first time around or did you have to finagle it a little?

Thank you for posting that pic, youre car looks great by the way. Also, could you please post a picture from the back, i have 10.5's as well and would like to see what they look like with 295's. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, im glad to here it performs as good as it looks as well. Ive heard nothing but good things from it from everybody thats using it. Strano's suspension has the perfect stance for our cars IMO, I cant wait till i get mine.

Thanks man, that looks good. Does it rub or get close to anything after the drop, and did you have to do anything to get'em to fit? Thanx again.

What do you guys think about these rims? I opted out and just bought the TTIIs but, now I think I want a set of these too.

Anyone got a black T/A with these on so I can see what they look like? I want them real bad but, not if they don't look good on a black T/A.
