Gutting the cats.

Hello all. I drive a nbm 01' ta. Any opinions as to if I should gut my cats? Never done, so just asking.. Thank you in advance.

Do you realize that you will need to either edit out the rear O2 sensor error code (I recommend HPTuners) or get O2 sims?

Go for it....as long as you won't have to pass a tail pipe verified emissions test.

i agree get rid of em..the only purpose they sreve is for emission puroses which is compleat combustion and less farmfull gases coming out of the tailpipe..so geting rid of em means more power..but like said above you do need to get the downstram o2 edited and get the pcm tuned

it all depends if you want to do it online and send it out to some1 that does it or if u want to do it localy and if its offered..usually depends..some guys did it for 75$ and some for 200$ sp best way is to check around and most shops will do free tuning if u upgrade some things in your car and need to retune your computer
