I'm looking into a Firebird LT1 That needs a motor. About how much do you think I should pay for it? The guy said he was looking at $3,000 obo. Not sure if that's fair or not. Let me know what you think, thanks.

does it have a transmission? I bought my 95 Z28 for $3500 with 78,000 miles but it had hit a deer and the airbags went off, but it had already been fixed.. so i would want to know how many miles the suspension and drivetrain had on them..

We need more info. How many miles, what year, tranny or no tranny. Any body damage, what's the interior like. Was this a race car that is now a roller? A lil more info would help us help you.

I got mine for $1500. Had a rebuilt tranny (auto) with less than 20k on it. Motor wasn't running but needed just a fuel pump and water pump to get it going. Car had 80k overall. Now it just needs the driver rear quarter panel and rear bumper replaced because they are pretty well damaged. Interior is in good shape except for some pretty good stains in the carpet. I'd say go for it if the car is in exceptional condition with a good trans and rearend. If not, you might be able to get a better deal. I think that you could get a decent running one for that price with high mileage perhaps.
