what the hell is this

i found this laying in my eng bay if for some type of vac has 3 spots for hoses any one know what it is and were it goes

its a vacum valve, are you running in a camaro or t/a

that is the vacume valve for your ac blower, when u turn the knob in the ac control from vents to defroster, to max ac to ..........ect. ect. that valve provides the pressure for the lever to direct the air to the diff positions.....check to see if its cracked or just plain broke off......maybe when it was last replaced, it was just forgotten in there.....

i know before i got the car the ac vent wounld open so that is what they must have replace and fig the tech left it in there like ass
