Oil catch can ????

Ok I understand how the catch can idea would help on a non LS6 intake car. Will this mod benefit me in any way seeing that I have a 02 car with the LS6 intake?? I read somewhere on here that the redesigned LS6 intake resolved the issues that would warrant a catch can. If I could benefit from this mod where would I place it at? I am a little new to the LSX world so forgive me if I am way off base here. I just want to make sure that I have any preventive mods done before I go to Bolton’s, ETC :thinkin:

The actual manifold doesn't stop oil consumption and might make it worse if the manifold has increase vacuum(just pulled that outta my ass so it's prob wrong :) ). You might be thinking about this http://ls1howto.com/index.php?article=18 ....it's the ls1 to ls6 pcv conversion and i've heard it does help a little.

Since you have a 02 with no egr you can attach the catch can to the front of the passenger head with a bracket of some kind...you might have to fab one. The good thing about putting it there is it's right by the pcv hose.
