The car is a bit north of 76k. Getting it dynoed wont hurt anything will it? The only thing that has been repaired in the car, besides normal maintence, is the rear end. Chewed up the pinion bearing. Thats it as far as I know. I'm not the original owner.

Just wondering before i do it. Would really really hate to have it done and wind up breaking something.

I'm not even sure how a dyno even truly works?:wall:

Put on, strap it down, put it in gear and go??

If your car can handle a WOT run, it'll be okay on the dyno. You've got nothing to fear. When you dyno, its normally done in the 1:1 gear, 3rd gear in the autos and 4th gear in the 6spds. The guy who runs the dyno shop will be dyno'ing your car, not you. Basically, you run smoothly up to these respective gears and nail it, run it up to just under the redline and shut down.

Heres a little vid for ya: http://media.putfile.com/Twisted-Visions-Dyno--Matt

Sweet, thanks for the info. The car can definitly take a WOT run. I dont do it much, but when I do the car smacks that rev limiter like it's its bitch.
