Dodge hemi's

I have raced two chargers one was a R/T the other was the big dog SRT-8. What I want to say is that either I have been very lucky or these cars are very over rated. I walked away from the R/T and the SRT never got ahead of me at all. I have talked with the SRT owner quite abit since we raced and he is more than willing to admit he lost a fair race. My car is a 2002 WS.6 with basic mods. Has anybody else raced their LS1's against these cars? I just want to know if this was a fluke or not. For the record it was a heads up drag race/ from stop. The R/T race was a stoplight race on highway 50. I beat him bad.

anything not an SRT is a joke...and SRT are just in the thing league depends on drivers on mods from there

I too have pulled a couple srt-8s, charger and a magnum, and the magnum fell behind, by about 100 he was 2-3 lengths back, and the charger was dead even until about 110 and he too fell back slowly, with the charger, I spun alot out of the hole even, they're quick, but I think they're a little overrated , both races were from a dig and I was not real impressed for 425 hp. but damn do nthey sound good
