Measure one. They are said to be 7.400.
I think most measure out closer to 7.380.

so then if you were just wanting to replace your stock rods cuz one was bent, would you get 7.4 or something a little less?

Get 7.400 if you are replacing stockers.
Although, I would recommend sticking to stock pushrods unless you have upgraded your valvetrain.

If he bent one, shouldn't he get hardened pushrods this time?
While you got the motor apart, it might be a good idea to spend some money on some more go fast parts though :)

If he bent a pushrod this time, with hardened pushrods he will bend a valve stem next time.
Valvetrain stablitily is a must. The stock LS1 valvesprings barely hold the stock cam. Meaning more chance for valve float...in which case, the stock pushrods may save you when they bend.

I did not know that.
Good to know. But, since I'm getting my heads/cam in the mail on thursday, the entire valvetrain is gonna be beefed up. So for me it won't matter.
