At 5 psi im pushing 410 RWHP and 402 RWTQ. Do these numbers sound kinda low to anyone or am i doing alright. Thanks. Also, what kind of quarter mile time do u think i'll be running.

What are the specs on the engine? On a bone stock engine that sounds about right.

its an automatic and i have hooker LT, ORY-P, no catalytics, and SLP loudmouth exhaust. Before the kit i was making 340 at the whells now im making 410. So i only went up 70 RWHP at 5 psi. To me, that increase doesnt sound right according to procharger

according to prochargers dealer sheet ( yes, i am a dealer...) if you have a 5 psi pulley setup on a stock setup you should gain approx 40-50% hp. this is for the p1sc-1 w/ 3.5 intercoolers, 38# injectors. feel free to call ATI and ask for tech help. they're good people:flex:

Congrats! And welcome to the Procharger 'family'! If you get it working right you will think it's the BEST mod you've ever done! BUT I would have gone with the 7PSI. I ran that set-up (P1SC-1) on a completely stock LS1 for about two years putting down 411/395. I added headers, cats, X-pipe and a good tune and got it up to 455/413 and that was with the original small intercoolers. AND never a problem despite regular trips to three drag strips and track days at two road courses and one NASCAR track (just for fun) and used as a daily driver.:)

If you can get it to hook you should be around 11:90@114. :)

Yeah, im running a 3.2 inch pully now. I was told that if i get a 3 inch pulley and a half inch smaller belt than what i have now i could up the boost to 7 psi and my RWHP will really increase. What do you guys think. I also have the twin 3.5" hi-flo intercoolers along with 38lbs. injectors and a fuel pump.

The 3.2 is pretty small. You may be getting some belt slip.
You should look into getting the SDCE Tensioner. It comes with a larger CP.

I agree that's pretty small. The smallest I've ever run is a 3.6 which is what I'm running now, but that's an eight rib setup. I don't think you should go any smaller and you're probably, like Ed says, getting some slip especially with a six rib. BUT I have a feeling with that pulley and the hp you're putting down, you're probably closer to 7PSI than 5PSI.When I was running the P1SC I was running a 3.85 at 7lbs and putting down about the same as you (411/395). (That was with their original smaller intercoolers so I probably wasn't running as much advance as you).

So what exactly should i do to get my boost up to around 7 psi. And when i do get it up to 7psi, should i have more RWHP. Thanks

Read our previous posts. I think you're probably already there or at least pretty close. Ed gave some good advice. BUT keep in mind that unless you build up the motor (go forged) you're not really wanting to pump the HP up too much. If and when you are ready for more, you will have to go forged with the same or another block and change the blower to a DISC (like I did) or perhaps an F1 which are both 'upgrades' over the P1SC. Having said all that, to answer your question, 7PSI will produce more HP than 5PSI. To simplify it, the more 'air' you squeeze into the engine, the more it acts like a larger motor because the 'Volumetric Efficiency' increases.

True.......
Back to the topic....you'll love the "Forced Induction" world.....while I'm partial to turbos I think you'll love your S/C.......just make sure you get the thing tuned correctly and dont push it over 5-7lbs without doing something to the bottom end.......would hate to see you shopping for a motor......
