Yesterday while my wife was headed to work a dump truck decides he wants to change lanes. Well be proceeded to change lanes while my wife still occupied the lane. Haven't talk to the adjuster yet. What happens from here. I've never had to deal with a insurance claim before. I've just got done putting about $4000 into the car. Will I be able to get the book value plus the amount of money I put in it.

Make sure you have all your receipts for everything you've done or get copies of them!!! That helps a lot when trying to justify your mods!!!! Good luck!!

^^ he's right -- definitely find all the receipts/statements showing how much money you put into the car recently and the insurance should cover it...
To be honest, I'm surprised there wasn't more damage... it looks like the door is OK, some minor repair & repainting will fix that... front & rear fenders, front "bumper," wheels & tires definitely will be replaced.
Was there any axle damage or damage behind the wheels?

they won't total it dude. Unless there's more than what can be seen, but some bondo on the rear fender/door and a new front clip and fender + paint = better option than totalling it.

Thats the only damage thats visible. I'm not sure if it bent anything underneath or not. The rearend is sitting at a funny angle right now and the front wheel is leaning in alittle to far. I'll know more when the appraiser looks at it Monday. I really hope its not totaled. I don't think I could get my money back out of it. I,ll post later when a hear from the adjustor. Thanks for all the help.

:dunno: Well I got the report back from the appraiser today. $5100 Bucks to fix the body damage and replace the rims and tires. They still don't know if the frame has been damaged. I've got to talk to the adjuster tomorrow to find out if there going to total it or not. What would be the best solution repair or total it. Thanks for all the helpfull insites.
