Will I Wreck my Stock Rear

I'm puttin 315/35/17s out back, i hear alot of people are wrecking their stock rears with such a large tire/rim combo...i drive the car like a reg car and get on it once and a while, i avoid hard launches at all cost....would i still damage my rear?

Not for much longer, but it is doing fine.
