69 camaro rims and tires size?!?! HELP!!!!

ok so im trying to find the widest rim and tire pakage that can fit on a stock 69 camaro.... i curently have 215/70/r14 on the front and 235/60/r14 on the back... the off set is bad cause the front fires rub on the inner tire well when i uturn and the back tires get cut up by the rear bottoming out.... i need to know the propper off set and backspaing to fit good size tires, without having these problems..... if u know or have and idea... any at all it will help emmensly..... thanks :tired:

your best bet is to go to a rim shop and have them measure to give you the correct spacing. ive had 295/15 on the back of my 69 Bird and the fenders rubbed a bit when I hit bumps, but that was also with air shocks. Year One may also be able to help, those guys know stuff like that by heart. You wont be able to fit much rubber, the fender wells are pretty small. Good luck.
