Almost a year later, I'm finally back at the track. Car has been through a couple of changes. Here's the run down. SLP airlid, K/N filter, ASP under drive pulley w/overdrive alternator, no cats, Bassani tru-dual exhaust, Yank PY3400E, stock PCM tune, two stage n2o (75/150), FJO dual stage window switch, 3.73 gears, and M/T 26 x 10.50-16 ET Streets. Still can't break a 12 second pass on motor. Burned up #7 plug on the nitrous. The first nitrous pass was leaving on the 75 and having the 150 come on at 3500 RPMS. Blew off the tires and went 11.51 @ 119. The next pass, I set the 150 to come on at 3000 RPMS and after that, I turned the 75 on. Went 11.444 @ 119.85.

Best NA - 13.245 @ 104.96 75/150 N2O - 11.444 @ 119.85 Made 4 runs.

No kiddin, would a turbo even make that much difference? So what is the negatives of the nitrous? It is relatively cheap and works a ton.

look at what it did to my plugs. sudden increases in cylinder pressure is the main issue to deal with. up 150 hp levels, keep 92+ in the car and maybe pull some timing to keep it all in check and you'll be fine.

Dam dude how are you trapping only 104 on motor? If you had some more MPH on motor, that 11.4 run would of been a 10 sec pass more then likely @ 125ish

because, i bought the two slowest LS1 cars on the planet. and it's closer to 105. 104.94 and 104.96

Those plugs are a warning. I wouldn't spray that motor again without getting a tune to richen it up. A few more seconds and your pistons would look like that. They might have been damaged already, just not blown through yet.

richening it up wouldn't involve a tune. just increase the pill size on the fuel side is all. on motor, it's fine.
