323's to 373's shift points

Anybody change gears from a 323 to a 373 and have to adjust the shift points for the 1/4 mile runs? My car is set to shift at 6000 on all gears, it seems like when I went to the track the car could have done better if I maybe had a 6200 rpm 1st and then a 600 second. Any one have any experience in this area?

Yes I have. I went from 2.73s to 3.73 though. I had to readjust all shift points because I kept hitting the rev limiter from 2-3 shift. I raised the rev limiter just as a precaution but I lowered all my shift points. I didn't raise them.
