Has anybody figured out who is making gears for our cars yet. I've been trying to find some but I'm told it's like the C5 vette and you cant get any unless u convert to solid axle.:dunno:

The Aussie Commodore and Monaro (GTO) are available with 3.08. 3.45, 3.7 and 3.9 gears depending on application. I beleive they're about AUS $900 for a set, suggest you go to ls1.com.au. there lots of us friendly aussies there.
I'm only new to Holden but there's heaps of performance , suspension & braking upgrades available for your car. You might want to check out the V8 Supercars website. Lots of Luck!

These parts are all available in AU. Go to ls1gto.com there is alot of talk about this and there are two sponsors that sell the parts. Diff Technics and Mid West preformance parts.
I have 3:91 gears, and put the heavy duty diff springs in it which stopped all the single wheel spin. These rears will take a suprising amount of power. There is a black GTO with rear mount turbo running 9.7 at 140 on the stock rear, axles with the only mod being the stub shafts. Biggest thing to fix is wheel hop that is what breaks things. I broke stock axle during one bad launch. I now have drag bags, Qa1 shocks, Harrop cover, subframe connectors, absolutly no wheel hop and 1.7 60' times on stock engine.

Go to CAPA.com.au and look under LS1 Performance parts. You'll see the prices of the sets there. the ones you want are the same as VX Commodore. Prices are in Aussie dollars so x 0.75 for US Dollars.
