I picked up a PC 7336 yesterday. Lots of choices on the web for pads. Anyone have any feedback as to which ones to order?
:dunno:

Lake Country are good pads. The only problem is that they do not sell direct. I think I bought mine a http://topoftheline.com

I prefer pads from http://www.detailcity.com/eps-foam-pads-dual-action-polishers.html They have the velcro on the back recessed in which makes centering the pad easy. Some places sell pads which have the velcro going all the way to the edge of the pad which I dont care for. For instance if your buffing the top of a rear quarter panel and the edge of the pad hits the roof pillar (perpendicularly) I would think that may scratch the paint. The detail city ones are manufactured by Lake Country.

Not a problem.

Who's cleaners are you using. I tried Meguirs #2 and #9. The #2 did not work very well. The #9 with a yellow pad followed by the white pad did the trick. Also, I had to bump up the speed to about 5.

I actually got the #2 and it worked well. My car hasn't been exposed to the elements that much though. It only has about 16000 miles on it and has been garaged for the most part. Anyway, the pads work well and I very pleased with the results. Thanks again for the suggestion.
