warning lights on......

the anti-lock break and traction control lights just came on .........any thing i should look at before going to the shop?

they both use the same computer. hopefully it is just a sensor.

lol i went out and fired it up,put it in gear and the lights went out........crazy :dunno:

not crazy. If you down shifted so hard the car chirped, or slammed the brakes and came to a screetching halt, both of those lights will stay on until you turn off your car. It's like the car's way of yelling at you to NOT DO THAT! b/c if you loose traction-you could get killed. nothign to worry about though. Not a sensor/computer or anything.

weird... I've done some crazy shit in my car, and I've never seen the ABS light... it just puts on my 'Low-Trac' light...

it's never stayed on either...

the funny thing is that i had just had dropped my son at daycare so i was driving sane! the sensor thing could be because the breaks had just been replaced just before i got the car......thanks guys for the feedback it is helping for sure :notworthy:

I had the same thing happen after a stereo install. Was driving me nuts before I figured it out. :lol:
