I have a 98 TA WS6 and I'm considering replacing the rims with the Zr-1 17x11 in the rear. If I understand it correctly, they are 56mm offset and need a +50mm offset?
Also, can anyone tell me if there are fitment issues? Will I have to roll or flare the fenders? I have an APHR so I can re-center the rear if I need to. Will they fit recentered?
I really like the CCW's (classics) and I think they are made to fit without modifications, but my wallet may still be a little tight for those. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

You'll need to beat in a small area just in front of the bumpstop on both sides. And depending on your brand of tire, you may have to roll the fenders.

convertibles will be just like other cars.
I have a convertible and 17x11 on all 4 corners.
the +56mm offset is for a 9.5" wide wheel, not the 17x11.
get the 17x11 +50mm offset and you'll be fine.
as for the aPHR, recommended, but make sure you center it with no springs, so you can compress the rear and center it so that no side will touch once the wheel is well inside the wheel well.
I cut the outer part of the bumpstops to that they wouldn't interfere with tire, if I wanted to lift the car by the side.
you might need to masssage the inner fender of the wheel well a bit... normal.
End result, love it, but requires some work to fit the 17x11 in the rear... in the front, no work is required, basically... way more room.
