Performance Shops near Birmingham, AL.???

I have a buddy that has a 2001 WS-6 and he wants to do heads, cam, intake, and some other stuff to his engine. He is looking for a reputable shop in the Birmingham Area to take his car to, but doesn't want to get taken to the cleaners either. There is a place called Speed South that is very reputable, but they are ridiculously high. Does anyone know of any reasonable shops that do good work in about a 200 mile radius of Bham, Alabama?
