okay i'm sorry to be the idiot but i have no clue whats going on with wires and polarity and such but i'm wanting to learn, my senior project is coming up and i've decided to compleatly redo the sound system in my car. before i touch anything though i'm going to research the crap out of everything since i'm only going to do this once and i'm going to do it right. now first off i have a question about the monsoon system. my car is a 98 coupe and the headunit says monsoon but there is no sub just a cd changer i heard there was supposed to be a sub, also where can i locate the amp its not under the rear seats (like i said i'm new at this don't laugh) anyway i want a pioneer head unit the DEH-P77DH model to be exact. it says it fits stock opening and i want everything to look clean so i'm kinda set on that head unit. but if you know any negitives on it let me know please. next i want to run oversized wire thru the car to all speakers. i want infinitys speakers all around they get good ratings and i've never heard much bad about them. then i want to get a subthump t-top box with two 12s or possibly 10s with the amp mounted underneith don't really want anything to make my ears bleed but some thump in my music would be nice. my big thing is i like everything to look clean. as long as the system sounds atleast alittle better then stock (which duh it will) and holds up good i'll be okay but showing a wire is way out of the question for me. except for the headunit and the sub box i don't want anyone to be able to tell it's not stock, guess i'm wierd but thats more important to me then having the best possible sound. anyway some help and suggestions would be greatly appriciated

thanks!

Your subs should be on either side of the rear passengers. They're dinky lil things so they might looks like speakers to you. Dont know much about the unit you're lookin at, but good luck with the project.

O yea, they're letting you do this for a school project? Thats cool. Now you can goto the parents and ask for car audio money and say its for a school project lol
