Thanks

I've only seen the decal. I'd be quite interested in the lens also. I've only ever seen them for Camaro's though.

Please expand on how you sprayed it in. Do you have the light backed out also?

Anyone know a seller who sells the bird sticker? I just checked and couldn't find one.

1 i removed the lens
2 cleaned it with windex
3 scuffed it w/ 2000 grit sandpaper
4 applied bird decal
5 sprayed about 5 coats of black spray paint
6 before the paint dries completely remove the decal
here are some places to get the decals at

I would never deal with those thieves again. Bunch of scam artists. They wouldn't give me all of my money back after their screw up in sending me the wrong part. After 3 or 4 tries, they doubled the price so I just said 'forget it' and then they charged me a bullshit 'restocking fee'. The guy operates a business out of his house, what kind of 'restocking' could he have to do? Thanx for the idea, but been there, done that...

I've got a Z, so it's obviously different, but I sprayed mine on as well. I just had a decal shop cut the decal I wanted, and put it on transfer paper; Then I removed the brake light, taped off the back, cleaned and scuffed, applied decal, sprayed a layer of black primer, then 3 layers of paint, and removed decal. I then sprayed a couple additional thin layers over the light so that when it's not lit, it looks pretty solidly silver. Oh, and clear coat the hell out of that thing too.
