Sure you can. You will think that you just added a 100 shot when you leave the starting line as long as you have good traction.

with my 4.10 gears and yank 3400 converter, i would go into OD right at the traps. This was NA. on spray, i had to go into OD 60-70ft before thetraps which attributes to the low mph for the et. once you start making lots of power, you don't need the gearing that high. pulled a nice 1.709 on 315/35-17 nitto DRs.
