4.10 noise

I have an '01 camaro ss with about 20,000 miles that i had MTI motorsports put a 4.10 gear in about 1,500 miles ago.. Is it normal to have a gear wine with this kind of gear? the faster i go the louder it is.

If the backlash isn't setup properly you'll get a ton of whine, or improper breaking of the gears... but the lower the gear the more likely you'll have more noise. Som 4.10's whine like hell, others are mildly noticeable

I had 4.10's put in my car they are PPT gears and i had it done under warrantie (sneaky but ya gotta know people) so i know it was done right and mine whine so i would say normal unless it's unbearble
