Hello to all;
Just wondering if anyone out there has had the following problem:
I was driving last night with absolutely no abnormal noises or anything, then I had to make a U-turn and all the sudden, my clutch pedal was on the floor and that's where it stayed. I couldn't shift into any gears as the clutch pedal was fully down to the floor.
I got out and checked my flluid and it seemed ok, got back in the car and pulled the pedal back with my hand. To my surprise, it worked again...I was able to get into reverse, back into first and BAM, back to the floor again. It actually felt like it broke. So I checked the fluid again and this time it was completely empty.
I was able to dry-shift it down the road to the local gas station where I got a can of fluid...poured it in and it all drained out...WTF???
This morning I checked my master cylinder and everything looked ok from under...no breaks or loose fittings or lines...
So, does anyone else thing this is a slave cylinder problem? I as because the fluid seems to be coming from the center of the engine/trans mount...that little gap...yeah...
Any help or ideas are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
