I was wondering if anyone has this product? Does it really help increase hp? If i put it on will I need to tune it at all, or will it be fine w/o tuning? Thanks for the help!

Not worth it.
Save your $$ and get something else.

Stock MAF is good to a high power level.

I have the Gran. MAF and my car pulls harder but you really only see gains in the really high RPM range...

yeah i've found it pulls harder at higher rpms like driving on the interstate.
I also installed slp ram air intake and lid with smooth bellow. their is alittle difference in power.

I have the SLP MAFS. I noticed a difference in the power. I haven't tuned my car yet so i don't know the effects of that.

I noticed a change in power as well.

Negative difference. My car leaned out....almost to an unsafe level. Probably the biggest mistake I made modding my car.

I've got the SLP MAF.

This week I added:

MSD Wires
NGK Irridium plugs
SLP Cold Air Induction Package (lid, filter, bellows, kit, etc)
SLP MAF

I can't speak on the MAF itself but after all of the mods I noticed a big difference in my top end. It seems that it pulls a lot harder from 4000-5500.

I have the SLP MAF on my caralong with the SLP ram air, smooth bellow, and lid. I feel the difference after i put it in compared to stock. But I have a problem right now with my car. Its been in my uncles shop for the past week with the check engine light on. The mechanics are saying it has something to do with the intake, possibly the MAF. Anyone encounter this problem?? What should i do?

Get the code read at AutoZone.

The reason you guys are seeing power up top is simple.
Lean = power.
Lean also equals knock.

Good decision. You're stock MAF is more than capeable of handling up to five hundred horsepower. Adjust certain tables in you're stock PCM settings, while porting it out thoroughly, and you'll have a piece that will rival any aftermarket alternative...

Did anyone know that the slp maf is made by Delphi? If you pull back the sticker that says slp you will see that it says delphi.
