Just acquired my very first LS1 Z and I'm curious how well it will run against the other cars out there. My LS1 has an A4 with 2.73s(Is my car equipped with posi rear?I can't tell on my RPO code at the door because it's half ripped.), 71k miles. It only has K&N drop in filter and BMR STB.

Do have any chance against? 05-06 Stang GeeTees, TB SS? Other LS1 Fbodies? GTOs?

You're car (my car) can take down the newer stock GT's. Get some bolt-ons man and start downloading vids of what our cars can do and you'll get the idea sure enough!

our cars will give a lot of cars grief. infact, look forward to not getting a lot of races jsut because you're in a v8 camaro, and most other's out there have run the course of getting their asses handed to them. congrats on the new buy, man!

TY, I have so many compliments about this Z:love:. Hell, I almost bought a 330i instead of this car but my fiancee:date: (avid Fbody fan also) insisted that I should get my dream car, LS1 fbody.

Yeah, you'll see half the races you saw before....Atleast I did. I can only get my friends to race me...I've had my car for 6 months and I've only had about 3 races that weren't setup one way or another.

I don't know of any, but I'm sure there are some in Little Rock. I have a couple of friends I cruise with in Hot Springs, but I wouldn't call us a club.

No badges is the way to go. I have no badges and Borla exhaust with one pipe exiting on the left side, even with my LT’s, TSP Y-pipe, no cats the ricers cant hear the V-8 rumble over there fart can exhaust. Good way to go.

I'm the luckiest guy in the world. My wife gave me a blank check for my F-bod. :burnout:

The only thing she wants in return is to learn a stick.:thinkin: Is that a good thing?

I should have wrote "M6" instead of "stick" just to keep things in the spirit of this forum. She is a gearhead though. We started dating AFTER she saw my '78 Black Trans Am. (auto) When we were married, she drove it more than me! I hope history doesn't repeat... :Ohno:
