I am searching for a way to accurately set my launch RPM in my 2001 Z28. 6 spd. TR cam, 100 NOS. Ford 9" w/4.11's, M/T ET Street's and the common bolt-on's and mod's. I noticed that riceburners have some kind of clutch activated switch, similar to a brake light switch, that in turn sends a signal to a programable controller. Is anyone familliar with something like this for 4th gen's or is there a more simple way to control launch RPM. Besides your foot that is. I've looked at MSD but I don't think this what I'm looking for. I'd like to stay and chat but I have to get back to work.

It sounds like what you're talking about it a 2-step rev limiter. Holds the revs at what RPM you want until you launch, and it turns itself off.
