I just bought my 1999 trans am and it has a tan/darkgreyblue/black interior, the grays don't match the doors, or the center console, the tan is fine though... was wondering ifm aybe that was sun discoloration? Is there any stock interior that is really BLACK not dark "GRAY" or "GRAYBLUE" (what i got?) If there isn't any im just going to paint my interior black, and swap out the seats and get them redone in two tone, thanks guys :help:

I can't find interior specs but if you have blue stiching in your door panels, you may have an anniversary edition. If that's the case...don't mess with it. Also...DON"T PAINT YOUR INTERIOR. It looks good in the begining, until you start using your car and the paint chips.

Yeah, interior painting requires alot of work in order to make it look good and hold there. I made a couple of dashboards and pannels where I work at and in my free times. You just can't spray on directly the dashboard or any parts, the material just won't hold the paint on and it'll do some bubbles as the paint dries. :nono: You'll need to do alot of sandwork, get the parts sanded with 120 to 360 sandpaper, it should be good. I use Krylon Plastic holder paint to do that kind of job, never had a trouble with it, never chipped or scratched, but you'll need more than one layer, I'd advise 3 to do a smooth job so it looks clean, although if your not a maniac like I am just put 2 layers and you'll be in buisness. :drivin:

Mine has ebony cloth interior... it's the blackest interior I've ever seen without being leather.
