need serious help with my transmission problem

Problem: All my shifts are a bit clunky as if im pushing through a small barrier, but problem gets real bad when my car is finally heated up about 25minutes and it becomes almost impossible to shift into any gear. I found in some instances to get into 1st I could put the clutch in, slide into second then push into 1st fine. I have no idea what is going on, but my first problem sounded to me like a clutch engagement issue, any advice would be great.

As of now my transmission is in pieces at my local shop and he says the clutch appears to be fine, but I've seen the tips of a few teeth chipped on the input shaft, 3rd gear, and countershaft. Those 3 parts to replace are about $2600. I think that is outrageous and I want to know how bad the chipped tooth problem is, and what if anything it has to do with my driveability question. :shots:

Where you located? $2600 for the trans fixed is the cost getting a rebuilt one with some goodies added.Check it out you'll see

Yeah I was looking at a company that sells through ebay had trans for about $2800, i was going to see if anyone had any experience buying that way if i were to go that route. I really don't want to be doing this right now though. How serious is the chipped teeth?

I personally would not buy thru ebay for trans with no garanty so check out T56REBUILDS.COM. he's from ls1tech.com 2800 will buy his top of the line box which I think you don't need but anyway check it out and call him and tell him what you want/need.
