What is the difference between 1.7 rockers and 1.8 rockers? I want to get this package but I'm not sure on what rockers I need to get.

Also, I'm pretty sure i want the 232/230 .580/.580 110 LSA cam with the 64cc Chamber Size on the heads. I'm wanting my car to stay streetable but want to take her to the track and rip someone apart.
I have QTP LTs, ORY, and GMMG Exhaust.

keep the stock rockers with the cam you are putting in.
the 1.8s will not work with that cam unless you fly cut the pistons.

too much lift between the 580 on the cam then rockers.

your new lift will be about .614 you my not have enough piston to valve clearance with the quicker rate of opening on the valves. if not, you would need to notch the pistons for added clearance for the valves.

so, the stock piston's would need to be replaced to run the 1.8 set up?
would there be any benefit in replacing the piston's ect. to accommodate the 1.8's our do yall think that would be a waste of money?? (im probally coming across as a dumb ass.. but I don’t know much about the actual internals of the muter…)

No, it would not be worth $1000 + it would cost to replace pistons just to use those rockers.
Like they said with that cam stick with stock rockers it will be fine.

What they are saying is that when the cam pushes the lifter pushes the pushrod pushes the rocker which opens the valve, the valve will open too much and hit the piston. The pistons would not have to be replaced, just flycut, which means you take this tool and cut notches in the pistons so the valves will clear. But just get the cam and skip the rockers, you don't need them!!
